Acts 2:36-41; Psalm 32; John 20:11-18

There are two homily notes here for our reflection. Below is an act of spiritual communion kindly say that shot prayer its very rich

In the first reading, Peter continued is address to the people about Christ. They were touched and so they asked, “Brethren, what shall we do”. Peter said to them “repent, baptise and receive the Holy Spirit”. We may ask, what shall we do to be good Christians? The answer is the same, “repent, baptise and receive the Holy Spirit”.

In today’s gospel, Mary Magdalene was honoured with the appearance of Jesus and Jesus mandated her to go tell others. Whoever is honoured by God has equally been mandated! Let us fulfill the mandate given to us. God bless you.

Fr. Ephraim ITAMAN

1.‘God never tires of forgiving us; we are the ones who tire of seeking mercy’-Pope Francis
2.Our God is merciful.
3.The Mercy of God is one of the powerful messages of the Resurrection of Christ.
4.Hence, St. Peter in the first reading called the Jews who crucified Jesus to repentance.
5.He said: ‘Repent and be baptized everyone of you for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’
6.Repentance precedes forgiveness.
7.There is no sin greater than the mercy of God. God is not interested in our sins. He is interested in us.
8.He knows we are weak and frail. But he wants us to return to him asking for mercy.
9.Hence, the Responsorial Psalm says; the mercy of God fills the earth.
10.Repent today and God will repaint you with His mercy.

An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
